What is Sermorelin Acetate?
Sermorelin is the amidated 1–29 fragment of growth hormone-releasing hormone; the catalog specifies an acetate preparation.
Mechanism & research focus
It stimulates the pituitary GHRH pathway and endogenous growth-hormone release. It is distinct from administering growth hormone itself.
What the research covers
A 1996 multicenter open-label study enrolled 110 previously untreated children with growth-hormone deficiency; 86 were eligible for efficacy analysis, and measured growth velocity increased during follow-up.
What remains uncertain
An uncontrolled pediatric study cannot establish adult performance or longevity outcomes. Sequence, amidation, counterion and purity need verification, and the studied preparation should not be assumed equivalent to a research vial.
The evidence label describes the linked research, not the suitability of a catalog product for use in people. Formulation, identity, purity, and measured content must be assessed separately.
